NADA Auto Show 2026: Dates, Brands and What's Launching
Two weeks after the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo wraps, Nepal's oldest and largest auto show takes over the same venue. If you are shopping across cars, EVs, commercial vehicles and parts all at once, this is the one built for you. Here is what to expect.
The 18th edition of the NADA Auto Show lands in late August, closing out a busy month for Nepali car buyers. Where the NAIMA Expo leans toward importers and new-energy brands, NADA is the long-running, broad-tent show: passenger cars, two-wheelers, light commercial vehicles, and a big hall of spare parts and components under one roof. If you want to see the whole ecosystem in one visit, this is it.
How NADA is different from NAIMA
Both shows run at Bhrikutimandap, and both exist mainly to showcase and sell vehicles. The difference is scope. NADA is the older body, with more than 50 years of history and a nationwide footprint, and it includes auto parts and component businesses that NAIMA does not. So alongside the vehicle brands, NADA has allocated 46 vehicle stalls covering 19 passenger vehicle brands, 10 two-wheeler brands and 17 light commercial vehicle brands, plus 76 smaller stalls for 45 auto component companies.

Who is showing up
Below are the notable four-wheeler names expected at NADA this year. This is a guide to the headline brands rather than the full lineup, since the complete 19-brand passenger list was not published name by name.

The headline launch: Changan Nevo Q05
The standout debut tipped for NADA is the Changan Nevo Q05, a new SUV from Changan's Nevo sub-brand. It is expected to be sold through the Deepal showrooms operated by MAW Vriddhi, which already runs Changan's Deepal brand in Nepal. That gives Nevo an established service and showroom network from day one, which matters for a new-brand buyer.
The new-energy story
The clear theme at NADA this year is Chinese new-energy vehicles. Between Geely, Deepal, Riddara, Avatr, Aion, Xpeng, Nammi and Dongfeng, a big chunk of the floor is electric and hybrid. Some of these are already selling in Nepal and some are newer arrivals, so the show is a useful way to compare them side by side rather than chasing separate showrooms across the valley. If you are cross-shopping EVs, this is the practical reason to go.
Should you go, or wait?
If your shortlist includes any of the new-energy brands above, or you want to sort out a car plus its parts and service picture in one trip, NADA is worth the visit. Launch-week pricing and finance offers from partner banks tend to appear during the show, and seeing the cars in person beats spec sheets.
Our usual advice holds: go in with three or four models in your budget, sit in each, and ask every stall the two questions that matter most in Nepal, what the real on-road price is after tax, and what the service and parts situation looks like. With Dashain approaching, this is where a lot of the year's best deals get made.
