Leapmotor B03X Arrives in Nepal at Rs 44.99 Lakh: A Compact Electric SUV Between the T03 and B10

Shangrila Motors has confirmed the price of Leapmotor's newest EV, a compact electric SUV that slots neatly between the budget T03 and the bigger B10. It is smart, city-sized and keenly priced. Here is what is confirmed, and what to check before you book.
Leapmotor is not slowing down in Nepal. After the C10, the B10 and the T03, Shangrila Motors, the brand's authorised distributor and part of the Golchha Organisation, has brought in the B03X, a compact electric SUV. It is sold as the A10 in China but comes to Nepal as the B03X, and the confirmed introductory price is Rs 44.99 lakh.
That price is a launch offer for the first 100 customers. The standard MRP after that is Rs 46.99 lakh. It positions the B03X above the Rs 28.99 lakh T03 hatchback and below the B10, giving Leapmotor a fourth model aimed right at Nepal's fast-growing compact EV segment.
Price
The Rs 44.99 lakh figure is the first-100-buyers offer, so the price steps up to Rs 46.99 lakh once that runs out. As always, confirm the current on-road price with Shangrila Motors before booking, since on-road additions vary.
The specs that matter
The Nepal-spec B03X ProMax runs a 53 kWh battery with a front-mounted 145 kW motor, good for 197 hp and a 0 to 100 time of 8.6 seconds. On range, the official figure is up to 382 km on the WLTP cycle. You may see a 505 km number floating around, but that is the CLTC figure, a more optimistic testing standard, so plan around the WLTP 382 km, and expect a bit less again in real Nepal driving.
Charging is a genuine strength. Leapmotor quotes a DC fast charge from 30 to 80 percent in about 16 to 17 minutes, which is quick for this class. Internationally the B03X also comes in a smaller 39.8 kWh version, but Shangrila Motors has so far confirmed only the 53 kWh model for Nepal.
Design, space and tech
At 4,270 mm long with a 2,605 mm wheelbase and a tight 10-metre turning radius, the B03X is built for the city. It is easy to park and easy to thread through traffic, while a high seating position, a flat floor and what Leapmotor counts as 33 storage spaces make it practical for daily use.
The look is playful. A three-segment LED bar forms a "smile" across the nose, with matching curved "HA-HA" lights at the rear. Inside, the ProMax gets a minimalist cabin in Currant Black eco-leather, a large central touchscreen running Leap OS 4.0+ with split-screen, smartphone integration and remote control. It comes in five colours: Acorn Brown, Berry Blue, Galaxy Silver, Seaweed Green and Tundra Grey.
Where it fits, and who it's for
The B03X lands in the busiest, most competitive part of Nepal's EV market, the compact electric SUV space around Rs 45 lakh. It goes up against cars like the BYD Atto 2, the MG S5 EV and Dongfeng's Nammi, and it even sits just below Leapmotor's own B10.
The honest read: this is a city-first EV, not a highway hauler or an off-roader. The compact size, tight turning circle and fast charging are exactly what a Kathmandu commuter wants, and the 382 km range is enough for daily use with room to spare. The pitch is smart tech and easy running in a right-sized package, backed by Leapmotor's growing local network. As with any EV in this segment, the long-term deciders are the same two things: the real on-road price after the new tax, and Shangrila Motors' service and parts support over the years. Ask about both before you sign.
